SPORTS UPDATES AND NEWS:
Girls Varsity rolls to victory in NL matchup vs. Worcester. Great team win by the girls. They return to the court Wednesday against Germantown. The game is now at home at 5:30 PM.
Boys Varsity can't keep up with Worcester in NL game. Return to the court Friday in the Charlotte Valley tournament.
Girls JV takes down Stamford/Jefferson in NL game. Girls Varsity stays with Stamford/Jefferson in the 1st half, but can't keep up down the stretch. The girls teams next play in tournaments this weekend. The Girls JV plays in the Preston Fisher Tournament in Davenport on Friday and Saturday and the Girls Varsity plays in the Schenevus tournament on Thursday and Saturday. Good luck girls!
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team on their 2nd place finish in this years Booster Club Tournament. On Tuesday the Girls defeated Gilboa/Roxbury to earn a spot in the Championship game vs. Schenevus. Our girls put forth a great effort, but unfortunately came up 3 points short to earn the 2nd place trophy. Good start to the season girls!
That's a wrap on Fall Sports! Thanks to everyone who came out to support our student-athletes. Enjoy a couple weeks off and recharge for the winter season! Winter Sports begin on 11/18! Make sure you turn in your fall uniforms ASAP and get signed up on Family ID for Winter Sports!
Congratulations to the cross country team for finishing their season last night at the Greene County Championships. Seniors Mason Bellinger and Ava Byrne ended their high school cross country career with a strong push in a challenging wave of competitors. For modified, Lillian Shoffler placed first overall in the county! Also having amazing races were Aria Shoffler who came in 8th and Avery Kashman coming in 10th. Great job to all who ran!
Congratulations to Ava Byrne, Grace VanDean and Mason Bellinger for participating in the Patroon Conference Championship meet in Schodack Landing yesterday. All three runners had some of their personal best times! The XC team wraps up its season next Tuesday at the Colonial Golf Course with the Greene County Championship Meet. Come out and support these athletes!
Congratulations to the Golf team on winning the Delaware League Tournament by 12 strokes! Leading the team was Gideon Glennon shooting 82 to take 2nd medalist. Teagan Mahoney, Will Schneider, and Jaxon Denier round out the scoring with scores of 87, 89 and 111. Teagan was also 3rd medalist. What a great team win! Congrats to Coach Glennon and the Golf team on a great season!
The XC team had a great run at the Mountaintop Championships yesterday at Colonial Golf Course. Lillian Shoffler took first place for girls modified and Zack Huetter-Van Leuvan took first place for boys modified! Mason Bellinger takes the top spot for Boys Varsity. In the Girls Varsity race Ava Byrne took 2nd place and Grace VanDean takes home 3rd. Great job by the XC team!
Boys and Girls Soccer both lose to Downsville/Walton in league play. This wraps up the season for the Girls Varsity team. Boys Varsity have one more game on 10/18 vs. Germantown. Thanks for all your support this season!

Boys Varsity Soccer wins again in thriller vs. Charlotte Valley 4-3. Girls come up short on the road, but give Charlotte Valley all they can handle.
The BV and GV soccer teams avenge early season losses to Stamford/Jefferson. The GV team won 2-1 on the road with goals from Lizet Molina Rodriguez and Ava Byrne. The entire team played a great game! The BV team won 4-2 behind 2 goals and an assist from Blake Cameron, a goal and an assist from Donovan Garcia, and a PK goal from Ian Gilmore. Great job by Leo Cruz Ramirez controlling the midfield. What a great team win!
BV Soccer falls on the road to Worcester 4-2. Scoring both goals for the Wildcats was Blake Cameron. The boys look to avenge and early season loss Monday to Stamford/Jefferson.
The BV team lost on the road to Margaretville. After a 2-1 deficit in the first half the boys couldn't keep the momentum in the 2nd half and lost 7-1. The boys go back on the road Friday for a NL game against Worcester.
The GV team honored it's Seniors Tuesday in a home game vs. Margaretville. The girls battled through 80 minutes in regulation and 20 minutes of overtime to a 0-0 tie. Way to keep fighting girls and congrats to our seniors!
The HTC Cross Country team had a successful first home meet of the season at Colonial Golf Course on October 1st. Special shoutouts to Lillian Shoffler for placing first for girls modified with a time of 13:47 and Dakota Turk for placing third for boys modified with a time of 15:19 (a new PR!).

Boys Soccer takes down Windham in another great game to win Booster Club tournament! Goals by Blake Cameron and Ian Gilmore secure the trophy. Leo Cruz adds an assist. Girls take down Germantown to take home 3rd place trophy on goals by Lizet Molina Rodriguez and Alyssa Trani. Angelina Dixon with an assist. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the Booster Club and your Wildcats!

The boys and girls modified soccer teams both opened their seasons against Charlotte Valley. Come out and support our modified athletes when they take the field today vs. Gilboa Roxbury!
The golf team continues it's winning streak by taking down Roxbury on Friday afternoon. Leading the Wildcats were Gideon Glennon and Teagan Mahoney with scores of 40 each. This moves their record to 5-1! Keep it going golfers!
The boys and girls Varsity soccer teams both get their first wins! The Girls took down Worcester 1-0 on a goal by Linsey Bellinger and the Boys took down WAJ 2-1 on goals by Blake Cameron and Leo Cruz Ramirez. Blake also assisted Leo's goal. His goal was assisted by Donovan Garcia. Great job by Jackson Radcliffe in the goal. The girls play again Monday at Gilboa and the boys play Tuesday at Windham.
Congratulations to the modified cross country team for their excellent performance at their first meet of the season. Special shoutout to Lillian Shoffler for placing first for the girls modified on an exceptionally difficult 1.75 mile course!
Boys Varsity Soccer team loses at home to Sharon Springs/Cherry Valley 6-3. The boys outscored the opponent 3-2 in the 2nd half including goals from Blake Cameron and Donovan Garcia. The goals were assisted by Ian Gilmore and :Leo Cruz Ramirez. The boys return to the field Thursday against Mt. Top rival WAJ.
Girls Varsity Soccer team falls in season opener at Windham 2-0. The girls played a great team game however and return to the field Tuesday at Sharon Springs/Cherry Valley.

Golf team starts the season on a hot streak with a 3-1 first week. This includes wins over WAJ, Gilboa, and Charlotte Valley. Gideon Glennon shoots 40,42, 35, and 40 to lead the team in scoring. Teagan Mahoney comes in with scores of 45, 43, 46 to help the team to Delaware League wins. The golf team returns to the course on Monday 9/9 vs. Margaretville.
