The HTC Booster Club Athlete Award is given to a HTC graduating senior, in memory of Dr. Michael Greco.  Dr. Greco was a co-founder of the Booster Club and anyone that knew him, could tell you just how much dedication and pride he had for our athletes and for the entire HTC community. Dr. Greco was a longtime resident of the mountain top with a dental practice in Saugerties.  His two sons, Joe and Mikey, attended HTC and were student athletes.  In addition to cheering on HTC and jeering on the referees, Dr. Greco provided an annual dental clinic at the HTC elementary school, was a HTC school board member, and as mentioned a founding member, of the booster club.  Joe and Mikey are proud of their father's dedication to public service and knew how much he enjoyed HTC athletics. They are honored to keep the memory of their father's legacy part of the HTC community through this scholarship. This award of $ 1,000 is given to an HTC graduating senior boy & girl that has excelled at HTC as an athlete, a student, and has demonstrated their dedication to their community in various ways such as performing community service.
