Goals of the Counseling Center
To encourage students to recognize and make the best use of their capabilities.
To build self confidence and self esteem.
To help students deal with personal and social concerns.
To teach students decision-making and problem solving strategies.
To help students think about post-secondary opportunities.
To help students apply to colleges or for jobs.

Coordinate efforts with the school psychologist and CSE on behalf of the students
Coordinate referrals to school and community resources
Facilitate parent/teacher communication
Administration and interpretation of college entrance examinations
Provide advice on behavioral interventions for parents and teachers
Develop strategies with teachers and parents for at-risk students
